Algeria is an increasingly strategic partner for Italy, not only in the energy sector. This was debated during the panel discussion Focus on Algeria : an opportunity for Italian economy, moderated by Enrico Castaldi, founding partner of CastaldiPartners, as part of LegalcommunityWeek 2023. Institutional figures and experts took part, outlining the most important elements of the partnership between the two countries.

Successful case histories were recounted and the figure of Enrico Mattei was remembered, but there was also talk of the future, of the creation of an industrial hub in Algeria under the impetus of Italian investors and of the North African country's new investment code, which opens up new scenarios in the geo-political and economic context of the Maghreb.
